It is hard to imagine, but according to those who have experienced both: the grief from a divorce can be more devastating than the death of a spouse. The end of your “happily ever after” can have life -long consequences, especially if one or both of you go negative on each other.
Do you have a child with someone you were never married to? Do you need support for that child from the other parent? Or, do you need to establish unfettered access to your child or children? We can help with either of these needs with a long-term goal of a workable, peaceful co-parenting arrangement.
Jayne is trained in the Collaborative Law method and she is an experienced mediator with an estimated 700 - 800 mediations conducted. There are several other mechanisms besides the law and the court system to solve problems. Most of the time other methods are vastly more effective and cheaper.
Where we live and where we work are critical components to our lives. Do you need advice about: forming a company? Splitting with a business partner? Are you struggling with a neighbor? We provide advice on all things practical when it comes to your business and/or your property….
You may have other legal needs that we are not in a position to take up representation on. Typically, we do not handle personal injury, criminal matters, bankruptcy, or appeals. We are, however, always willing to make sure you get to a reputable and dependable attorney who does specialize in the type of work you need.
I have worked with Jayne on cases and found her to be focused on cost-effective problem solving on behalf of her clients. I refer cases to Jayne because of her high quality of work. She is a pleasure to work with.
After law school Jayne worked for an national Insurance Coverage Defense firm doing general plaintiff work in subrogation claims, drafting coverage opinions and handling various business disputes. But she met and later married a Professional Safaris Guide from Zimbabwe, Africa. They set up home in Zimbabwe where their three girls were born. Jayne worked in a small country law practice in Zimbabwe for a time but determined there was more stability at home on their 250 acre farm. There she raised cattle, made bricks, ran a children’s riding school and grew plants and sod for her retail garden nursery. But Zimbabwe in the end did not hold promise for the Webb-Martins’ three talented girls; nor was there any stability in owning land in Zimbabwe.
